Apple Quicktime Windows Media Player

The movies are the same size (about 2+Mb). Apple Quicktime provides better colors, while Windows Media Player provides proper the "letter box" (wide-screen) format.

I visited the property to run the well pump, water the trees, wave at folks driving to the reservoirs, ponder the future, and decompress.

Not that I'm under lots of pressure. Decompress is a verb, not an adjective, so there is no quantitative connotation to the word. So, while it is true that my life is quite nice, it's good to get away and decompress - relieve what stress there is.

The water from the well is now crystal clear. It was a bit murky, or as the chemists in the room would say, "turbidDid you know...Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by individual particles (suspended solids) that are generally invisible to the naked eye, similar to smoke in air. The measurement of turbidity is a key test of water quality.", since the well was drilled. The last two times we've run the well we've drawn about 1,000 gallons. This has greatly improved the appearance of the water.

The well pump filled the 10-gallon water jug in just about a minute and 15 seconds, and ran for just under two hours. For the mathematicians in the rooms, the excercise is yours.

I filled the 4 test bottles that I received from the Laboratory Services Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. They samples are in the 'fridge until I can get them in the mail on Monday.

Clear Water = No Turbidity :o)

It was a beautiful day in Park County despite a continuous drizzle in the Springs. 66°, mild breeze, and mostly sunny. Yes, the sky really is that blue.
