Step Two: The Culvert

In order to get a permit to drill a well or to build a house, you'll need a physical, or street, address.

In order to get a physical address, you need to tell the county where your driveway is.

In order to get a permit to install a culvert to get a driveway, you'll need to provide your street address to allow for geocoding - the process of relating the address to a physical location on the surface of the earth. For instance, if you're driveway is located 40 percent of the way between 10th Avenue and 11th Avenue on Antelope drive, your address might be designated as 1040 Antelope Drive.

So... what's your street address?

OK, where's your driveway?

OK... you'll need a permit. Lets start over.

Nearly done.

Hey, where did all the extra dirt go?

... and the fence?
