HB&A, Bob's office, was cleaning out their storage space and had a lot of old shelving parts to get rid of: angle iron, steel shelves, nuts and bolts. St. Peter Catholic Church in Monument got a good dose of the materials thanks to quick action by Kristy's Granddad and his friends in the Knights of Columbus.
Bob brought home a couple dozen of the 8-foot sections of shelf supports - 1¼" angle iron with 5/16" holes every inch. These served as the materials for Kristy's desk-top shelf unit. Bob chopped and welded the bits and pieces together one weekend, drew up some directions, and shipped it to Laramie! [$17.66 UPS ground - arrived in one business day! Quite a bargain for a 48-lb package.]
