More Fence
Once you get a system going, the fence pretty much puts itself up.

Working on my PhD - Post Hole Digger - better known as an earth auger. It had stopped digging because...

The outside cutting edge was worn to the point of being ineffective.

Ditto for the auger point bit. Old on the left, new on the right. Apparently that little spade on the tip really helps it dig.

Looking Sharp!

The next 12 posts were a snap to dig. Planting them in concrete was a bit tricky, but good old fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants engineering ingenuity
provided a solution. [The blue-topped tupper-box is, as it turns out, 14 1/2" tall when stood on its end.]

LUNCH! Yes, those are cookies. They were a gift. I had to eat them.

12 more posts ready for concrete.

Mixing the concrete in small batches and transporting it to the post is a whole lot easier than moving the mixer. I'm just saying.

Done! Heading for home.

Stopped on the way down the driveway - lots of wildflowers this year.

Took a break...

... when an office-mate showed up with a friend. Ken was out on his low-flying motorcycle and stopped by with his friend Dena.

10 more posts concreted in... and we've turned the corner!
