Nightlight Chickens

Trying to get 14 hours of daylight - and eggs...


Feeding the birds on a cold morning - the camera seemed to bother them a bit. They weren't as eager to eat as they usually were.


The light inside the coop is on a timer, providing a extra light until 2100. The watering can is heated when the temperature gets close to freezing.


Spending the evening outdoors "under the stars".


As the sun slowly sets, the birds are more willing to stay active with the Christmas lights on their coop and their yard.
