Terri in Alaska

As part of Terri's duties at Peterson AFB, she provides support to the Alaska-based DISA field office.

One of benefits of visiting Alaska in the summer time is nearly 20 hours of daylight. Eight hours in the office seem like a pretty fair trade when you still have another 12 left for fishing.

Not a bad day's catch.

This one's done!

The confluence of the two rivers - one crystal clear, the other full of sediment. The fish, I'm told, hang out at the edge of the silt cloud.

Bullwinkle never had it so good! This one is titled "Reclining Moose".

A grizzly bear in an enclosure. The picture was taken through the fence surrounding a wildlife park. This fellow probably needed care at one point, and will probably remain here, having become accustomed to humans.
